Private Beta Terms of Use

By accessing or using OneHuman, you agree to the current Private Beta Terms and the linked Privacy and Safety pages.

Not every public interaction includes a checkbox. If you do not agree with these Terms, please stop using the service.

OneHuman is a calm human journey platform for public stories, The Human Chapter podcast, Start Here, and browser-only private reflection features.

The service is still being tested. Features, pages, content, availability, and workflows may change as OneHuman learns from the private beta.

OneHuman's current private beta is intended only for people age 18 or older. People under 18 should not participate in the beta or submit applications.

The application asks for a simple age confirmation, but OneHuman does not collect date of birth, birth year, identification, or parental information in the current public beta flow. This does not mean age has been technically verified.

This policy may be reconsidered before a broader launch after appropriate legal, privacy, and safety planning. Do not use OneHuman if using it would be unlawful where you are or if you cannot use it responsibly under these Terms.

Public reading and listening do not currently require a reader account. Private-beta participation and continued service availability are not guaranteed.

You receive only a limited, personal, noncommercial right to use OneHuman as intended. Using OneHuman does not grant ownership in the platform, its technology, branding, or content.

Visitors may use OneHuman in the ways the product is designed for:

• read public journeys and chapters
• listen through legitimate OneHuman or external platform links
• follow journeys locally in this browser
• save private reflections locally in this browser
• participate in Start Here
• submit genuine private-beta applications and feedback
• share links to public OneHuman pages

Please do not use OneHuman in ways that harm people, compromise private records, interfere with the service, or misuse public content.

• attempting unauthorized access to Creator Studio or other restricted areas
• bypassing, probing, or interfering with authentication or authorization
• scraping, automated harvesting, or bulk copying of OneHuman content
• denial-of-service attacks or attempts to disrupt site operation
• malware, malicious links, or harmful submissions
• spam, form abuse, duplicate flooding, or deceptive submissions
• impersonation or falsely claiming affiliation with OneHuman
• harassment, threats, or unlawful behavior
• exposing another person’s private information without permission
• submitting content intended to encourage self-harm, violence, abuse, or exploitation
• copying or commercially republishing OneHuman content without permission
• attempting to access private applications, reports, feedback, or admin records

Creator Studio is restricted to approved administrators. Discovering the route, guessing a URL, or being a private-beta tester does not grant permission to access it.

Creator Studio authentication and creator authorization are separate from public beta participation. Beta testers do not need Creator Studio accounts.

Journeys and audio may discuss difficult subjects, including grief, loss, trauma, emotional exhaustion, uncertainty, survival, and rebuilding.

Content notes may appear, but they cannot predict every personal reaction. You may stop, skip, leave, or return later. Using OneHuman is voluntary, and content is not guaranteed to feel helpful to every person.

OneHuman does not provide therapy, medical care, diagnosis, counseling, legal advice, financial advice, crisis intervention, or emergency response.

Public stories and podcast episodes reflect experiences or editorial content. They are not professional instructions.

If immediate help is needed, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis-support resource. The Safety page includes urgent-support guidance.

Followed journeys, reading progress, check-ins, Start Here state, and private reflections may remain only in the current browser.

Browser-only information does not currently sync between devices. People using the same browser or device may see it. Browser settings, storage clearing, private browsing, device loss, browser updates, or technical failure may remove it.

OneHuman cannot centrally restore browser-only data. Do not use the local reflection feature as your only copy of information you cannot afford to lose. OneHuman does not claim ownership of private reflections.

Submitting a private-beta application does not guarantee access. Submitting feedback does not create employment, compensation, partnership, ownership rights, or a promise of follow-up.

Feedback may be reviewed and used to improve OneHuman. OneHuman does not claim ownership of your underlying personal life story simply because it appears in feedback.

Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information. Response times are not guaranteed. No automated email confirmation or ongoing communication is promised unless a page specifically says that feature exists. Product-update consent remains optional.

Public journeys, chapters, podcast descriptions, show notes, imagery, and site copy are editorial OneHuman content.

Stories may use disclosed bases such as lived experience, founder-authored prototypes, interviews, anonymized contributions, or privacy-protecting composites. Story-basis disclosures explain how public journeys were created.

Content may be edited, corrected, unpublished, reordered, or removed. Publication does not guarantee factual verification, professional review, or universal accuracy beyond what is stated in the disclosure. Public content is not professional advice.

OneHuman retains rights in its branding, design, site copy, editorial presentation, and owned content. You may view and listen for personal, noncommercial use and may share links to public pages.

Linking to a public page is different from copying or republishing its content. Commercial republication, unauthorized reproduction, resale, or removal of attribution is prohibited without permission.

Third-party podcast platforms and licensed imagery may have separate rights. OneHuman does not claim ownership of your private reflection or personal life experience.

Some audio or content links may open Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, Buzzsprout, or another external destination. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

External platforms may change, become unavailable, or collect information independently. OneHuman does not control them and does not imply sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement unless clearly verified.

The private beta may contain errors. Features may change. Content may be edited or removed. The service may be interrupted, paused, or unavailable.

OneHuman does not promise permanent hosting of every journey or episode, compatibility with every browser or device, or preservation of browser-only data.

OneHuman may restrict access, block submissions, pause features, or remove content when reasonably needed to protect safety, prevent abuse, protect private records, respond to legal obligations, maintain service reliability, or enforce these Terms.

The current public beta does not create paid subscription rights or a guaranteed right to continued access.

OneHuman is provided on a private-beta and “as available” basis. It may be interrupted, contain errors, change without notice, or fail to work on some browsers or devices.

OneHuman does not guarantee a specific emotional benefit, preservation of browser-only data, accuracy of every public story beyond its disclosure, or availability of third-party listening platforms.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, OneHuman is not responsible for losses caused by unavailable external platforms, loss of browser-only data, reliance on content as professional advice, unsupported uses of the platform, or interruptions outside OneHuman's reasonable control.

Some jurisdictions may not allow particular limitations. This section requires professional legal review before broader public launch.

Reports are reviewed manually during private beta. They are not monitored continuously and are not emergency requests. If immediate danger is involved, contact local emergency or crisis-support services.

These Terms may change as the private beta evolves. The Last Updated date will be revised when this page changes, and material changes will be reflected here.

Continued use after changes means using OneHuman under the revised Terms. OneHuman does not currently promise email notice of Terms changes.

These Private Beta Terms are written in plain language for the current testing stage. Professional legal review remains required before a wider public launch.

Legal operator identity, business entity status, broader-launch age policy, governing law, venue, arbitration, class-action-waiver decisions, liability language, indemnification, copyright takedown procedure, contributor agreements, retention periods, and international availability remain founder or attorney decisions.
